Dr. Vaardahl joined the Foot and Ankle Center in 2001 and has been a key component to the success of the practice ever since. He thrives in a fast paced environment and is very passionate about what he does. He values the many patient relationships he has developed over the years and takes pride in helping those he treats. He graduated from Barry University 15 years ago and continues to visit as a mentor, speaking to students about various foot and ankle topics. This past February he attended the 23rd annual Agnes Seminar which is a student sponsored education seminar. There he lectured on the Ankle Triad, which included arthroscopy of ankle, lateral ankle repair, and peroneal tendon repair. While at the seminar he also judged the students scientific posters. Dr. Vaardahl is an advocate for continuing education, and is often attending seminars that help him keep up to date on the latest techniques. He is board certified through the American Board of Podiatric Surgery and a fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. When he’s not busy learning or treating patients, he is teaching! He is currently the Director of the North Colorado Medical Center’s Podiatric Medicine and Surgery Residency. Through this position he devotes many hours to teaching a great group of residents, and helping them to become successful foot and ankle Doctors and Surgeons!
